Vintage Mustang "COBRA Rear" Disc Brake
The Vintage Venom "COBRA Rear" Disc Brake conversion kit enables you to use Cobra Mustang rear brake components and standard offset wheels as small as 15". In other words, you can use "traditional" offset wheels, i.e. late model 30mm offsets are NOT required.
This kit would be used for those applications where 15" wheels are desired while utilizing the big 11.65" diameter COBRA brakes.

These high quality, professionally engineered Disc Conversion kits are by far the most cost-effective way to put late model big brakes on your vintage Mustang or Cougar. Components are manufactured to OEM or higher specifications.
Enables using the REAR brakes from 1994-2004 Mustang Cobra, Bullitt and Mach I:
- Rear Rotor: 296mm (11.65") dia 1994 - 2004 Cobra, Bullitt, Mach I
- Rear Caliper: 1994 - 2004 Cobra, Bullitt, Mach I
- Wheels: Does not change offset requirements and fits most 15" and larger.

Vintage Venom's adapter brackets
(6061-T6 Billet Aircraft Aluminum)
These specifically engineered beefy brackets are machined from 1.25" thick billet aircraft aluminum and enable you to use late model calipers on your original drum brake axle.
Mounting Hardware
(Zinc plated Grade 8 and 10.9)- Anchor bracket fastening bolts (grade 8)
- Anchor bracket fastening nuts (prevailing torque, grade 8)
- Caliper mounting bolts (grade 10.9)
- Washers (both grade 8 and 10.9)
- Rotor piloting rings

Application Specifics
This kit is designed for the small axle bearing tube:
That's right... There is now a small bearing COBRA brake kit available. It is no longer necessary to cut up your axle and weld on big tube ends in order to have big rear disc brakes.
How do you determine if you have a small bearing axle?
- The bearing "OD" dimension
- Small bearing outside dimension 2.835 in. +/-
- Large bearing outside dimension 3.15 in. +/-
- Flange bolt hole dimensions
- Small tube flange mounting hols: Vertical dimension 2.00 in. on centers, Horizontal dimension 3.33 in. on centers
- Large tube flange mounting holes: Vertical dimension 2.00 in. on centers, Horizontal dimension 3.55 in. on centers

can often be purchased for as little as $50 on eBay. New Cobra rear brake
packages run ~$320. This means that you can assemble a complete 11.65in. COBRA rear brake conversion package for under $300.00.
